Project design

Best concept and economy. In the design phase we pick out the best solution and prepare it for realisation.

In cooperation with the customer we prepare the requirement specifications and the tender documents, which will form the basis of the subsequent selection of suppliers, contract negotiations, etc.

The design phase collects all the documentation necessary to put the delivery up for tender, including:

• General conditions and timetables
• Functional and process descriptions with specifications
• Basic data - "Facts & Figures"
• Technical and statutory requirements
• Drawings
• Checklist for required contents of the tenders

The result of the design phase is a single set of tender documents comprising the delivery requirements.

Next step in the project design phase is the bid round.

Activities in the bid round

• The tender material is submitted to a selection of suppliers
• Organised clarification workshops with the potential suppliers
• Reference visits
• Workshops including solution review with the shortlisted system suppliers
• Evaluation and recommendation of the received solution proposals

The outcome provides a well-founded basis for decision, technologically, operationally and financially and for the conclusion of a supply contract.
