Netto - The construction of a modern and efficient distribution centre in Wustermark

Bang & Olufsen – Increased performance and productivity

We are moving the production lines to Koprivnice primarily to enhance the performance and to get a more flexible solution, between them increasing the line productivity. Furthermore, we are interested in realising some of the cost savings made possible by production in Eastern Europe. GRIT - Increased competitiveness with Lean

We have developed from having large stock of finished products to almost none, from a cost-effective serial size of 600 units to one of approx. 100, from change-over times of 15 work hours to change-over times of 5 minutes on the A line and 20 minutes on the B lines. Carlsberg – Ready to move into the premises in Fredericia

Lyreco – The ability to supply is paramount

“The capacity enhancement has been reached primarily through modern logistics principles, less through technology. Technically speaking, the improvements consist of a new high bay and upgraded sorting and picking systems. That does not mean that anyone could have solved the technical implementation task. It was extremely important to us that our business partner had documented results in technical project management and implementation. A minor technical error may quickly develop into a large problem considering our defined service policy requirements. Matas – Extreme makeover

Netto – New gripping technology for the handling of fruits and vegetables

"Mostly, the challenge has been of technical nature. When we built the current location in 2001, it was simply not technically possible to automate the handling of fruit and vegetables. The technology is mature now and it coincides with the fact that the Danish Working Environment Authority has started to admonish our large amount of manual work. Additionally, the capacity requirement and need for uniform treatment of our products are increasing."

Rehabilitation Centre Copenhagen - Logistics taken into public administration

"Cooperation with Langebæk Logistics has been both swift and effective. We are a public authority in a different paradigm than the one Langebæk Logistik normally operates in - a fact, which has occasionally been a challenge. For instance, our staff are not used to working with tools like value stream analysis.
